Are you trying to find a fun way to stay motivated to get your steps in for the day? Even for the week? We can all agree that fitness goals and challenges are great ways to help us keep going so join us for our July Step It Up Challenge!
Here’s how it works: Strap on your FitBit, AppleWatch, pedometer or other fitness tracker and then stop by the Front Desk (Service Desk) to pick up your Step It Up Calendar. For each day, just mark how many steps you were able to complete. Make sure to keep track of your steps for the whole month of July and turn your calendars back in to the Front Desk - your calendar qualifies as your entry into our raffle. During the first week of August, we will announce one raffle winner from each club!
Invite a friend or several co-workers to join you and make this even more fun! Put a chart up at your desk or in the breakroom to remind you all to make a daily effort. Instead of a 15 or 20 minute coffee break that may be filled with empty calories - you can get in close to a mile walk or 2000+ steps, if you keep up a good pace. The bonus is that you'll come back with a clear mind, feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work.
Remember that every single step counts and they all add up in the end. Let’s Step It Up to the challenge of getting healthier one step at a time!
