Aqua
Exercise in the water can be one of the best forms of exercise. It provides a safe environment to effectively work out every muscle in the body without placing stress on ligaments and joints. Aquatic exercise is highly effective for people with medical issues that provide challenges to more common exercise modalities, as well as for the fit individual looking for an enjoyable, yet demanding form of exercise to add to their fitness regime.
Myzone
The Myzone® belt accurately monitors your heart rate to determine effort exerted and caloric burn. While wearing the Myzone® belt during your session, your information will be streamed to screens within the fitness center – enabling our trainers to hold you accountable during your training.
Fitness Assessment
A Fitness Assessment consists of health history, physical activity history, current nutrition, resting measurements, circumference measurements, body composition analysis, static balance evaluation, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular fitness, and flexibility. The information accrued from the assessment is then interpreted by an exercise professional and is used to educate the individual about their current physical fitness status and for the development of their short-term and long-term goals. The information is also used to form the basis for the individuals’ exercise program if they choose to train.
