Highlights
Medically Suggested
If your physician has instructed you to begin an exercise program due to specific injuries or medical conditions, our Medical Membership program is perfect for you! Our personal trainers can help guide you through a safe and effective exercise program that will get you on the road to recovery.
Certified Fitness Professionals
Our CFPs at Franciscan are trained to help you address the behaviors that have kept you from eating right, staying active and making your health a priority. They can also help you with other issues, including inactivity and stress. CFPs give you the tools you’ll need to overcome any challenges to achieving improved health and well-being.
Assessment
A Fitness Assessment consists of health history, physical activity history, current nutrition, resting measurements, circumference measurements, body composition analysis, static balance evaluation, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular fitness, and flexibility. The information accrued from the assessment is then interpreted by an exercise professional and is used to educate the individual about their current physical fitness status and for the development of their short-term and long-term goals. The information is also used to form the basis for the individuals’ exercise program if they choose to train.
Fitness Orientation
A fitness orientation introduces new members to many pieces of cardiovascular and strength equipment on the Fitness Floor. We will go over basic form, machine guidelines, gym etiquette, proper cleaning of equipment, and safety.
