Welcome Back Chesterton Members

Phase 4 Updates

Last Updated: February 2, 2021

Dear Valued Members,

We are excited to announce that effective Wednesday, February 3rd, our group exercise class capacities will offer increased class size availability. This update is possible due to the recently rescinded Lake County Health Department order that restricted class capacities to 25%, which took effect back on November, 30th. The order also required us to enforce capacity restrictions on the total amount of people within the club, that restriction has also be rescinded.

IMPORTANT: Please find comfort in knowing we are still operating under strict COVID-19 safety precautions and continue to rely on sound data provided by local and state officials, with added guidance from our expert infectious disease doctors at Franciscan Health.

Here’s a list of things to know for your next visit to the club:

What’s Changing:

  • Club capacity is no longer limited to 200 people
  • Group Exercise Classes are no longer limited to 25%.  Class capacities are now as follows:
  • Studio 41 – 29 people
  • Performance Studio – 24 people
  • Cycling Studio – 23 people
  • Aquatics Classes – 18 people
  • Team Training – 15 people
  • Aquatic Equipment has returned for use (Yay!!!)

As a reminder, we will continue to implement the following:

  • Masks are still required to be worn at all times (pools and showers being the only exceptions)
  • 6’ of social distance is to be maintained at all times
  • Basketball and volleyball are not allowed to be played at this time
  • Whirlpools remain open to single users
  • Saunas and steam rooms remain closed
  • No Family Hours at this time
  • Kid Zone remains closed
  • Advance registration via MYiCLUB is still required for all classes
  • Temperature screening upon check-in is still required
  • Extra sanitizing stations remain in place
  • As always, members are expected to wipe down equipment before and after use

Please know that because we operate (2) Fitness Centers, one in Lake County and one in Porter County, we will operate under the guidelines of the County with the strictest protocols so that both facilities can be aligned for reciprocity purposes.

Prayer for Prosperity of Health

Highly Exalted Lord, I ask for prosperity for my body. Please grant me many years of life, a sound mind, strength to my muscles, bones, heart, and lungs, a powerful immune system, and excellent agility. The healthier I am, the more thoroughly I can do Your work. Lord, I thank You that when I pay attention to Your words and keep them within my heart that they bring health to my whole body. Amen.
