Franciscan Health Fitness Centers:
A note to our members

UPDATED 5.29.2020

Your friends at Franciscan Health Fitness Centers truly miss you. In accordance with Governor's orders, we are excited to announce that our Chesterton and Schererville clubs will be re-opening June 1st. Based on Governor's order and sound data, our Chicago Heights will re-open on June 15th.

In keeping our high Medical Fitness Standards, we are blessed to have a team of physicians and infectious disease experts that have helped lead our charge. Each club will have a PHASED reopening strategy, complete with documented precautions/modifications, based on strict protocol being developed by government mandated guidelines, industry best practices and our healthcare professionals’ expertise. These precautions will include facility, supply chain availability, staffing, programming and other service modifications, only with your best interest in mind.

There is no higher priority to us than the health and safety of our members, staff and community.

As a reminder, we’ve always used hospital-grade cleaning products on our equipment and surfaces and will continue to do so. The primary product we use throughout the Fitness Centers is categorized as a heavy-duty sanitizer/virucide cleaner that destroys viruses. While members have been away, our staff has been working to disinfect every inch of our clubs ensuring a clean environment upon reopening.

As COVID-19 is an evolving situation, Franciscan Health Fitness Centers will continue work with local and state public health agencies should additional measures need to be taken. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to reach out to our staff. Safety is always paramount in the protection of our members, visitors and staff.
