You’ve heard the adage “health is wealth” and it’s never been more important than now. Many of us find ourselves less active due to COVID-19 even though exercise is one of the best ways to combat the virus. Regular exercise is one of the foundations of healthy living. Just like a healthy diet, exercise adds to good health and to a healthy immune system. It may contribute even more directly by promoting good circulation, allowing cells of the immune system to move more freely through the body and to do their job more efficiently.
Lack of exercise can weaken the bodies’ defenses, so whether you are returning to the Club or staying at home, get that body moving! We are still offering online At Home Workouts during our phased re-opening to inspire you to move while at home. If online classes aren’t for you, make sure to get outdoors and take a brisk walk, bike ride or run. Staying at home is understandable, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be moving. Make time to get active and workout at home. You’ll feel great, look great and stimulate your body’s immune system all at the same time!
